Description
Our Golden Circle Trip
On vacation? Indulge in the best Golden Circle tour Iceland has to offer – the relaxed way. We pick you up mid-morning, between 10:00 – 10:30 am,
and take you to see all the beautiful sights of the Golden Circle after the morning crowds have come and gone. To top it off, visit a natural hot spring/pool where you can relax in the 38-40°C water, the Viking way.
On this Golden Circle and Secret Lagoon Tour, visit the three major sights of the golden ring.
First off is Thingvellir, the site of the World’s first Parliament (Alþingi) that met each year, beginning in 930 AD and continuing until 1798. Þingvellir National Park is also a geological wonder where two tectonic plates meet – the Eurasian and American plates. You can see the edges of both plates and take a short walk between them!
Next, behold the majestic Gullfoss, Iceland’s pride and one of Europe’s largest and most spectacular waterfalls. As you approach, feel the thunderous power of the glacial river Hvítá, cascading down in two massive steps into a rugged canyon. The mist from the falls often creates stunning rainbows, making it a photographer’s dream.
At Haukadalur, get up close to the erupting geyser, Strokkur, which shoots boiling water up to 30 meters into the air every few minutes.
The geothermal area is a natural wonderland of bubbling mud pools, fumaroles, and steaming hot springs, offering a unique glimpse into
Iceland’s powerful geothermal activity.
And for an extra treat, we make a special stop to meet and pet the friendly Icelandic horses along the way. These charming and sturdy horses have been
a part of Icelandic culture for centuries and are sure to add a delightful memory to your journey.
The tour concludes with a visit to the Secret Lagoon, the hot spring nature bath locals have cherished for years, combining two of the best things Iceland
has to offer: great scenery and a warm, relaxing nature bath with full facilities including changing rooms, lockers, and showers.
Don’t miss out on this unforgettable experience! Book your tour today and immerse yourself in the best of Iceland’s natural wonders and unique culture.
